Our CPHB Certification is meant for tradespeople and construction professionals with field experience. The training is open to all with past experience in construction and/or high performance building. Learning Objectives (4):
High performance building enclosure systems with an emphasis on field inspection
Air barriers and passive building retrofitting
Quality assurance and quality control strategies
Climate-specific detailing
Weeks 1-2: Complete 8 hours of self-paced modules, laying the foundation of knowledge on building science, passive building principles and Phius Certification.
Weeks 3-4: Attend 8, three-hour instructor-led live sessions (24 hours total) for a deep dive on high performance enclosures, envelope field considerations, high performance mechanical systems, cost optimization and project management.
Weeks 5-8: Certification Exam
